Conjunction
Angle 0 Degrees
This aspect emphasizes and fuses the energies of the planets involved. Each planet modifies or strengthens the other. The activities are focused and intensified.
Square
Angle 90 Degrees
This aspect is a seat of inner tensions. The tension of the square gives our motivation. Squares are dynamic aspects which give us the drive to succeed. What begins as an inner problem is overcome or accepted, and then becomes a door to understanding.
Opposition
Angle 180 Degrees
This aspect depicts conflict which, when resolved, results in growth. Oppositions show a tug of war between opposing forces. If they are resolved, then the oppositions become the backbone and strength of the chart.
Trine
Angle 120 Degrees
This aspect shows an easy flow of energy and is generally considered favorable. You will mostly experience trines as talents and advantageous. However, trines can also show areas which are the line of least resistance. This means that you may be letting these talents slip by unnoticed and that you are lacking motivation.
Sextile

This is an easy aspect showing co-operation between two planets which leads to opportunity. It has a positive blending effect on the planets.
